Story Behind The Song
Kaoma's Lambada from Brazil came out in 1989. The video has both Joy and controversy in it. I felt compelled to compose an American rock version to dance the Lambada to. The relationships in the Kaoma's video gave me inspiration for my Lyrics.
Song Description
Dancing is fun, and as it with the Lambada. Music and dance bring us together. Dancing can be like a work out. And we always feel better when we dance.

Lyrics
Do the Lambada
I see you by the dance floor so I move right up to you. There's only one kind of dance now babe that I really want to do. Go ahead put on that lip stick and forget that suffragette.
I want to do this dance now that you haven't even learned yet.
First you take your arms now girl and rap them around my neck. Then I pull you up baby and pull you closer yet. Then you take your legs now and rap them around my hips. Now I know you've got it now and I new you'd be a hit.
Do the Lambada /Do the Lambada /come on Girl do the Lambada with me.
Do the Lambada /Do the Lambada /come on Girl do the Lambada with me.
Angels are learning to shake now babe shake it every night. You could hit the big time every Saturday night. There's so many runaways thumpin mow were bumpin down the street hey you want to get some then you've got to take responsibility. And
Do the Lambada/Do the Lambada/Come on Girl do the Lambada with me.
Do the Lambada /Do the Lambada /come on Girl do the Lambada with me.
Yes I like your clear blue eyes and your bright sunshine no I don't like this Graffiti you.ve been painting on my mind. Shake it when your moving up now. Shake it when were getting down. Shake it on over here little girl lets shake it all around.
Break down beat
